Green-Eyed Demon by Jaye Wells
One thing I've liked about this series is Sabina. She is learning some self restraint and thinks (mostly) before she acts. She is still quick to anger, but she thinks before she speaks/acts (mostly). That was one of my problems with her in book 1 (Red-Headed Stepchild). I enjoyed the humor as well. Great supporting characters and interactions between them. Great quotes as well, here are a few:
Giguhl: "I didn't sleep-sex him. Just kind of, well, humped his leg a little."
Sabina: "I probably shouldn't have been offended that a zombie just shooed off an opportunity to eat my brains, but I has to admit it stung."
