Edge of Darkness by J.T. Geissinger

Edge of Darkness (A Night Prowler Novel) - J.T. Geissinger

Overall, I enjoyed this one. A bit of a hint of Cinderella (not-so-nice stepmother and sisters). I thought Ember's survivor's guilt was well done and a unique plot point to the book. Ash is a bit of a cliche, but he was still a very likeable character. I liked Christian from the first book and it's nice to read about his HEA. The villains (there are a total of 3 main ones) are very evil and don't die. Ember and Christian's story comes to a satisfying conclusion. The underlying storyline that started in book 1 continues through this one and ends in a bit of a cliffhanger.
