Well huh.  I liked how the story was told in flashbacks interspersed with current day.  It also had a different type of shifter (in this case elk).  I think I would have liked this more had Bray been more human rather than elk (each year had as much sex as possible with different women to spread his seed).  However, he has been "unhappy," and wants a future with Celeste.  Decent end.
