Not bad, not great, just okay.
Jade was hard to like. She owns her own business, which is awesome, but the maturity I expected wasn't there. Instead, she is unsure of herself, naive, lacks common sense, and is so willfully blind at times I really, really wanted to smack her. I do think her grandma and mother contributed to her naivety and lack of confidence by deliberately withholding things from her during her childhood (this not til the end of the book).
The werewolves and vampire were interesting and likeable enough. I hated Sienna, Jade's foster sister. She comes across as lazy, unambitious, and selfish. The villain is easy to guess.
I liked Jade's affinity for finding magical items and then being able to fashion them into "trinkets."
