Different in tone from her Kitty books. This takes place in the future. The world is very unsettled, Russia is bombed, Seattle too. Average citizens have to go through checkpoints, carry ration books for staples, report all strangers, and know where their gas mask is. The story goes back and forth between this, the guardians of the Storeroom, and Sinon's captivity after the fall of Troy. Heavy on mythology and if you like the story of Troy, you'll probably like this one.
Evie is a writer. I get that, but didn't want to read her thought processes as she wrote her comic. I know why it was included, but I don't feel it added anything to the plot.
The ending was a bit abrupt, but I got it.
