I will admit I really, really didn't like Eliana in the previous book. She was too spoiled, naive, and sheltered. That quickly changes and she is kick-ass in this one. I ended up really liking her as a character. She is strong and resilient. Hate the society and their views on women (2nd class citizens) so I really liked Jenna's cameo(s) in this book. Certain events happen in this one as well, am interested in seeing the outcome in future books.
