To Beguile a Beast

To Beguile a Beast - Elizabeth Hoyt

Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite fairy tales and this book's take didn't disappoint. I really liked Helen and Alistair. I liked the incorporation of Abigail and Jaime into the plot and the relationship that Alistair develops with them. I thought Alistair's treatment of Helen when he finds out who she really was was harsh. Helen fully accepted her mistakes. I liked that Helen knew what she wanted and wouldn't take less. Alistair does redeem himself and comes through for Helen in her time of need. Not much development with the underlying mystery. It does hint that a certain person was the betrayer. Looking forward to the 4th and final book, To Desire a Devil.
